About Black Bart

Gary Kehoe is a British Columbia born entertainer. A well-established songwriter, he has signed six original songs with Nashville publishing houses. As a recording artist, his five CDs include his nationally aired singles The Man in Black Lives On and The Mad Cowboys.

Kehoe enjoys performing and has toured extensively across Canada and Internationally, appearing with well-known artists such as Randy Friskie, Stuart MacLeod, Kenny Holiday, Samira, Rusty Greaves as well as the Jordonnaires.

Gary Kehoe, a.k.a. Black Bart, has always been a Johnny Cash fan. He began his career in the early 70s, performing as a Grand Ol’ Opry personality and tribute artist, but shortly after the passing of the legend, Kehoe refocused his show to honour the Man in Black and keep the music of Johnny Cash alive. Crowds are drawn to this personable performer, who admits to being “a little bit outlaw” himself.
